My Day Dream Job

My job is a dream.

A day dream

A dream where I get to write

And that pays my bills

My job is a dream

A day dream

It comes from my imagination

Anything that I can dream up

And if it’s good, it goes down on paper

My job is a dream

A day dream

What happens when it becomes a nightmare?

What happens when my dreams don’t come true

When they don’t make for good writing?

I wait for more dreams

For the good dreams always come back

My job is a dream

Sometimes it’s a nightmare

But mostly a dream

Even better

It’s a dream that I get to live.
